Smoke Damage

Residential and Commercial Pressure Washing Specia
I learned something today. You guys may have already known this since most of you are smarter than I am.
I had a customer that had a lot of smoke damage on their screened in porch. They had been using their grill and the ceiling and trim around the screen was black. Chlorine worked a little bit but was going to require some pressure to get it clean, but I risked tearing the screens, so I decided to try something else.
I mixed Purple Power about 5 to 1 and used a spray bottle and the smoke stains cleaned up just using the black tip.

Hope this helps someone

What made the difference is the solvent in the chemical. Same reason why bleach doesn't remove the black streaks off gutters too well. Needs the extra kick.

10-4 I have even used Simple Green on soot and smoke stains. Some times Butyl is just to strong and you only need that extra kick to get it off.
