Simple Green or Dawn?

We usually use just water on coils. I'm thinking that prespraying with a little soap to dislodge the dirt might make it go faster.

This is mostly dust, but sometimes we come across mild grease contamination on restaurants. On those we use hot water.

These are aluminium fins with copper tubes.

Which would you use and what concentration?

I'm going to experiment with the answers I get on the next job.

I think that either would work fine. If you used the Dawn or Joy, I would not put too much because it will soap up a lot and if not rinsed good, it could leave a residue that would attract dirt and dust faster.

Just my opinion.
