SHC staining

So I washed a buddies house and I was using just 12% shc. His garage door windows have theses decorative type stickers or paint on them. Anyway, when I hit them with chemicals they immediately began to turn a rust color. Has anyone heard of shc doing that? Is there a way to get it off? Thanks.

I've seen a lot of plastic snap on attachments that look like that but no decals like that. Thanks for the heads-up but I've no clue how to fix it. Great now we have something else to watch for that can't stand up to a common housewashing.

Looks like etched glass. Might have to tape it off and re etch that area.

I didn't notice etched glass, I noted a rust colored deco piece above the glass. Weird.
Can you wipe it off? Tried any other cleaners to test like Windex with Alcohol or ammonia?
Maybe vinegar or lemon juice? Maybe F9 would take off the orange? I would try anything and then let us know what worked.
I guess in worst case situation, replace them.

I totally forgot about this thread. I used baking soad and peroxide and it worked great. So if your house wash mix stains etched glass, try this. Just mix enough peroxide and baking soda into a thin paste. Put it on and wipe it off. Just thought I would let you guys know.

This is information I'd rather have and not need than need and not have. Thanks John.
