yes and yes...they are chomping at the bit to get back to standing around behing the stoves and it drives me crazy. I'm a bit picky and hurrying for the sake of hurrying bugs me. I have told them that if they wanted it done faster then they should have me do it more often
I do service stations that are open 24 hrs , not the same thing but people will sit in line waiting on gas pumps and asking me stupid questions at 3 in the morning ,it will drive you madddddddd !
I follow that as well. On bids where the store is to reopen immediately we make the employees leave the area, for safety and ease of cleaning it is better to have them out of the way.
I always bring Caution Tape to the 24 hour stores... And if the employees are really in my way I usually hang plastic from the drop ceiling blocking off any over spray.. Usually if you just stop cleaning when they come behind you are start looking at the hood .. They will get the message and go about thier business..I would hate to get caustic on anyone...
Usually when you put they tyvek suits on and put on a mask they clear out. if that doesn't get them the first whiff of the caustic will send them out the doors
I get a few lookers on that too. I just tell them they need to stay away when spraying if they want to approach and look later that is up to them. I find that when the first foam that is brown comes rolling down the plastic they all want to come over and look up into the hood to see what it looks like now. I kinda like all the OOO AHHH's
