Are the stains bleeding out from the drain holes or the overlaps of the siding? If so,You may have gotten too much detergent up behind the siding and as it drains out, It will leave nasty stains.

Most likely it, the vinyl isn't the best either. It looks good but dries like crap

A quick "light spray" of plain water will usually wash the stains off. Garden hose spray only... When this happens, It's usually best to use a ladder and try to get up above the stains and spray the water straight down over the stains. You shouldn't need any cleaning solution!

I have used aluminum brightner also, to remove the thin layer of red clay that sticks to siding here in Ga.

aluminum brightner , it very dangerous stuff and produces poisonous gas if contacted with bleach, my supplier sells it and its called aqua prep. Its main ingredient is HF
