not necessarily...Roger is a lot smarter than that...his helpers pay him 9 G's to help him out...;)

I don't think Rusty is cleaning anymore...he may be, I should give him a call and see how he's doing. Haven't talked to him in a long time....

Roger and Rusty run a sweet business. Rusty has lots of knowledge about the business. His head isn't as big in person as his picture..:) The 9 K I paid for the school was well worth it in my opinion, I made that money back in 2 months. During the training I was told just about everything that pertained to the business and the stuff that was state specific we were told to check on ourselves. Like you Greg, my accountant has told me that I am not required to charge tax on my service only the things I sell lilke filters..etc...

I sure hope she's right because I just figured what I'd owe if I had to pay taxes on my first year in business and it's over 8 thousand dollars :eek: I think I'll re-check today...:D
 
Wtf?

Started crunching numbers and hitting the sauce, thought I would ask state auditor a few questions ie. Are churces, schools exempt ect. got on the subject about a lean and ask if that was on my business or house. Man am I lucky, its on my house, bout hit da floe, I guess for special affects she also stated that if this was not taken care of in the specified amout of time they could also issue a warrent for my arrest. Not sure how to take that, 30, 60 maybe 90 day vacation, thats tempting. No need to sober up now, just keep on chugging. Does anyone really know how big bubba really is? Without getting into details, you know what I am talking about. Maybe while bubbas got me down I can sing madonnas song, like a virgin touched for the very first time. He may go easy on me, or it. How is that my wife has 2 kids from 2 different fathers "yeah I know my momma told me to" and neither one of them has paid child support for the past 10 years! I work 2 jobs and the the both of them combined dont work 1. Sucka born every miniute. Gotta get back to drinking, cruching number yelling at the wife and kids. Funny dog always happy to see me no matter how big a SOB I am.

We fought that hard when it changed quite a few years back. I think it happened early to mid 90's? We kept trying to tell them we are just a janitorial service, and for some reason (can't imagine why) the man didn't believe us!

So for all you future FL peeps that want to open your own business doing this stuff.............don't forget da tax!!

Robin Hood, sorry to hear what Uncle Sam is rying to do to you. Adjust the prices, pay the bills and "work for cash". Dont let them run you out. Roger & Rusty taught me what has made more money I ever would have made working in the plant. They are good people donig an honest days work.
 
Greg, You need a tax specialist ASAP. They can sort this out with the state people. I just went thru this in TX. It cost me $400.00 for the specialist and I had to pay some past taxes on a sampled audit. Didnt have to pay any penalty, which was good. Tax law is confusing for a reason, when I figure that reason out Ill let you know. contact your CPA and he should know someone who specializes in the area you need. Hope it all works out. I strung my audit along for 8 months. Dont let them bully you. I feel your pain.

Robin Hood...have you figured anything out? Man I am so bummed....I have been offering low low ball prices and no one wants to clean....businesses are closing left and right....they are double taxing everyone...remeber everything is imported on an Island so you get nailed when it comes into the port then when you buy ANY GOODS or ANY SERVICES you get nailed again..it just sucks.....there are resturants everywhere up for sale...the governemnt just pulled this out of their asses. Looks like I will need to be cash only.....I am going back into the Pharmeceutical Industry....I'd actually be better off being an employee!!

Spoke with accountants, tax specialist, attorneys, other legitament hood cleaners, it seems there is no other choice but to pay, CASH IS KING!!! (as long as you dont tell the wife)Should be able to get the 50% penality waived but still owe 11% interest for the unpaid taxes dating back from day one. Enviroclean I also came from the corporate world, managed multi million dollar business all my life, thought this may be a way to get out from under the corp BS. In a way I have, in a way I havent, Its been hard, but its been good. Kinda miss the suite/tie, pretty young secratarys wanted to sleep with the boss, fringe benefits keeps the pot stired, cant even spell anymore, and the spell checked, it to much trouble. Chad is legit, he is one of my competitors and has been in the bizz forever, if you get foaming chad give me a buzz I'd like to see. Tell pop I said hay.
 
Testing out foaming now with the new rig we just setup. I'll let you know what I have found works the best when I figure it all out.
