Safe All Around Truck Wash

I'm looking for a soap that will do a reasonable job of cleaning, but most of all, it has to be safe. I don't want to risk trashing a windshield or tanks. Is phosphoric safe for all surfaces?

I'm just starting to go after the truck wash market, and in time I can move to stronger chems, but for right now, I don't mind doing the brushy brush until my skills and confidence improves.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I wash an airfreight fleet of about 25 trucks. I use Delcos R-109 and was very pleased with the results. Took awhile experimenting with the mixture before I got it right but I feel its a safe and effective all around soap, and safe on glass and other surfaces. My next thing I want to try is the DNB-1430. I'm not as advanced as other guys that use those acids, probley because I tried an aluminum brightner once and at the end of the day I was sick as a dog. Dont know if that was the reason but those acids kind of scare me.

Hope this helps :D

agree with Tom or the DNB-1433,both are safe but both can do damage if applied overly strong,I use both on polished rigs,house-e,barn-e,horse-e and sometimes in a load of cloths,I figure if ya'll can use tide on a house I can use my fleet'soap in my cloths washer.

bigboy you posted you agree with TOM then post a whole diffrent chem tom said 1430
you posted 1433 there is a big diffrence
want to spread some wisdom on the 1433
delco wont [not in print] and the one guy i tRUST
there did'nt think much of it.
Its going to be on my next order but looking to see if you spice it up as you do your 109?
also if you got a min i need a mean, paint safe degreaser. Ive got some nasty havey equipment on the way. it laff's at purple zep.
maybe the slant eye black stuff , 1430, and r109?

Dang, who is the one guy you trust???

I have tried the 1433 and the 1430. For me the 1433 is the better soap, and I feel that there are less issues with it. It is probably the best soap I have tried on Solid waste Vehicles. (garbage trucks) The 1430 is good as well. I just found the 1433 and have used it to my advantage.

scott/bigboy What soap to use is not the prob. for me its the tricks on HOW to use it.
do you downstream, upstream, use it as a pre-soak,add too it. What rate do you use it.
flo-jet it on?
i know a little about bigboys mix
very little
what are you willing to share scott?
can someone tell me whats in the mix when you buy PH besides just PH?
IF YOU BOUGHT IT, WHAT RATIO WOULD YOU USE IT
% OF PH THAT IS?

Long LONG long time ago there was this yellow pete that spit stack ju'ce all over itself,it wasn't a favorite truck to wash,it was disliked cuzz it was polished, you have seen a picture of the yeller pete that was disliked, remember, will ??33 came along and yeller pete now a happy truck.
I downstream it,upstream it and flo-jet it even put some on my stack brush, some straight to 1/2x1/2 but I cann't afford it but for polished.......O Scott I found another place to buy it but dang I forgot to save the web page, still looking. No,I do not mix the other with it,I did at first but I do not now.

Whats in Hp I mean PH,there is several ingrets in it,some different from others, think mine is 85%,I have citr'us and EB mixed in my forumlar plus surfac'it.

IF YOU BOUGHT IT, WHAT RATIO WOULD YOU USE IT
% OF PH THAT IS?..................hahahaha ant none of it worth a crap after you get used to what HF will do hahahaha so I's uses mines pretty strong and it still ant worth a crap be better off P'ing on it..

I'd use 1430 on the nasty stuff, let it dwell alittle longer, careful it bubble paint if way to strong but you can use a fairly strong mix before dam'ging paint.

I stopped making degreaser several years ago,at the time I stopped useing alot of it but man that degreaser would laff at purple Zep.Been several times I wished I had some of it b/c it would start melting it off as soon as you sprayed on it,fast.
