As you and everyone knows, one of my "hobbies" is writing funny "songs".
The KEC guys have "escaped" my "talents" pretty much.
I did NOT want them to feel "left out", so I wrote this song for them.

The Grease Police is a great organization, I think we all like to promote stuff that we like. I wouldn't call foaming the only step....maybe just my favorite step.

I like the safe non-toxic chemical. The one that you can throw on the hood ducts fans and filters and if you get it on you, doesn't eat at your skin for the next 20min. The chemical that doesn't leave that white streak all the way accross the parking lot that the owner sees as soon as he comes in the morning, WTF is his first words. The same owner that says that other guy, that other guy, I am finished with that other guy. When using chemical, some need to learn to wash the parking lot down, not saying anything about anyone one here or other boards, just that joker I have been running into and a few others that don't know about the internet. The ones using the same thing with caustic, not as me, and charging twice as much and doing half the job. When it comes to chemical, everyone is intitled to their own, but when it comes to a few, they think they know it all. Doing the job properly, doesn't matter what you use, just know what you need to do to make that place cleaner and safer for all who enters.

If the relations with TGP and PWI was better they could have had there own forum.

PWI stands for only one thing, better the indsurty through education no matter where it is.

Well PWI is head and shoulders above TGP in that respect. A friend of mine who also posts on TGP was severly remanded for the exact thing that Racer does every chance he gets, on this site. Pitching his product.

Historically, Pressure Washing boards have been run by people selling something, starting with Delco.
The Cleaner network is another.
Many times, if uncontrolled, boards like these can easily turn into one big INFORMERCIAL for what the seller wishes to sell.
The *****s start by creating a 'feeding frenzy' and the innocent new comer gets caught up in the Hoopla.
PT State is another relatively new board operated by a seller of equipment.
So far, Bob has taken a hands off approach.
Though he sells Simple Cherry, he has never reprimanded me for suggesting Apple Sauce, the homebrew roof cleaning mix I developed.
Apple Sauce is in direct competition to what he sells, and can be made cheaper too.
I can remember Delco being pretty cool when many of us roof cleaners suggested ShurFlo pumps and they sold FloJet's!

IMHO, a board that silences other viewpoints is gonna get a BAD reputation as one big Informercial board quickly.

I have not been to TGP.
I HAVE attempted to register with no luck.

I predict that we will see other boards pop up.
Competition for posters will increase.
What "worked" before in the days of little competition will no longer work as posters will have many choices where to go.
"Informercial Boards" will be avoided.

Opposing viewpoints must not be silenced, as long as they are presented in a professional mannner.

PWI has been a great bb that has allowed me to share many of my opinions, as well as learn and meet some great guys in our industry.

I have trained zillions of roof cleaners, both in person, and by telephone, Internet, Email, etc.
Never charged anyone a DIME either.

It's all accurate, the link for the website is bad....some idiot let the registrar expire, and someone else bought it. Call the number. Same as it has always been.
