Rust Stain Removal

Anyone have any idea on how to remove rust stains from shingled roofs w/o brushing.

Since I havent got to much reponse here maybe i will throw a few things out there for you guys to say yes or no. Someone was raving about lysol and rust so i may try this or iron out or CLR. Have not done the job yet still waiting on a response.

Try some oxalic acid. It will for sure take off the rust. Most likely wont hurt the shingles far as I know.

If you don't have any oxalic acid, HD sells Rust-Aid - about $9/gal.
