Any safe way to go without buffer tank? Running 5.5 gpm machine. Didn't get all my ducks in a row for buffer tank yet and have jobs to do.

Tried on a couple homes and water flow was not enough. Shut it down and used the little guy ☹️

You can set a cheap one up for less than $100

You can always get a 55 gallon drum for dirt cheap in the mean time. You can make way with that in the mean time. Just keep a eye on it through out the job. I have a 200 gallon and have had a couple houses that couldnt keep up with my 4gpm, and i just about drained the tank.

Plumb the bottom or be super lazy and throw the feed hose in the top?

Plumb the bottom with at least 1" ID poly braided hose. Dont drop the hose in the top....let gravity work with you, dont ago against it. Drop your fill hose in th top side with a float valve.
