Rotating Duct Nozzle

We use a foot operated valve to control the water flow, this leaves both hands free for controlling the hose. Our foot valves are set up with quick disconnects and our hose between the PW and the top end quick disconnect has a ball valve. No need to go down stairs, or rappel down the duct or back wall, no jumping off the building. Just shut off the ball valve and switch between the gun or the foot valve and spinner.

Yea, that's what I had in mind. Douglas Hicks' method sounded too time consuming, and too many times of jumping off roof.

Besides, I was giving him a hand last week on a hood and his "roof jumping" is a bit out of control for me.

:D Yea.

I bought 2 6" spiners from them yesterday. $206 each with nozzles. That's $100 less per spinner than anywhere else I could find.

Ok I am back for a second or two.. Up and Down the roof is to hard .. Just get a 1/4" HIGH PRESSURE VALVE for about $40.00 and save those knees.

As far as the duct spinner ,, I don't think they are much good. I tried one that my buddy let me use and it didn't do much to a burger king duct work ... and it made alot of noise banging around.. I also got worried about it hitting the fusible link on the fire system which one of them is usually located in the center of the duct in the plenum.. Oh well just my 2 cents worth.

Everyone has there own way of doing things.
What may apply to your jobs will not apply to my jobs.

I've never encountered a job we couldnt take on with the equipment we have on hand.

There is more then one way to skin a cat.

The garden hose and 3 butter knives we use have yet to let us down.

I once tried one of those scrubbies, but it is too rugh on the hands. That's when I decided a mild rinse with the hose would be better.

Shut off valves??? Real men just kink the hose under pressure to change whips, wands and spinners.
