Roof Pump Problem

No doubt air works better. Great for the owner operator who banks on one great big setup to get the job done. Air needs a lot of space. If it were just me, I'd go with air. But I'm not dropping 4 G's on 4 trucks worth of compressors plus the pumps. I can buy 30-12v pumps with that money. I keep a spare pump on each truck. Kinda hard to have a spare compressor tucked under the seat.
 
Ed your point is valid and I agree. If you use chemical pumps a lot then air is the best option.
However, the air pumps don't have the same issues as the 12v pumps do. That's the point they were trying to make.
Like someone mentioned earlier, could have been the pressure switch. I've had to change them before.
 
Compressors are like anything else. Maintain them and they'll last aping time

I feel the same way, I love my Delvans for 2 reasons 1 Cost 2 Anymore GPM is normally a waste in runoff. It is good if you are shooting from a ladder. But I dont think there are many roofs u can clean completely without walking them, so if we have to go up anyway? The delvan gets it done very well very cheaply.
 
Like Ed said the cost to put that many airflow rigs in all our rigs at one time would be costly. You really dont need over 2 gal a minute of love flying around a roof while the ground guy is trying to catch up. We tried the Fat boy craze and we ended up buying alot of plants and not for around my property.
