Roof Cleaning Video..

No, I dont you use a 5/8 well atleast not yet anyways... that is what i was asking im not sure what i need or what i should use with the pump that i have. i know from pressure tek it says it comes with the 5/8 hose
The pump will spray well with 1/2 inch hose.
It will spray noticeably better, and shoot farther with 5/8 hose.
My suggestion ?
Depends how dedicated to roof cleaning you are ?
For someone like me, there is no "hose size debate"
My only business is cleaning roofs, and my trucks have plenty of room.
So I use the larger 5/8 hose.
For many, the 1/2 inch hose will be good enough staying under 200 feet of it.

good job nick so did you help him finish the roof!!!!

Of course NOT !! he was charging them $150.00 for that roof, and it was about 3000 sq ft, the neighbor told me that he has done a few jobs on that block. He should get a stroke at that price :D

using the 5/8 hose what would be a good stopping point on the length? I know friction loss would have to factor in there somewhere.
Been cleaning residential roofs over 15 years, never needed over 300 feet of hose, except on a few commercial jobs.
In an ideal world, our hose would be as big and as short as possible,
I know someone who uses 300 feet of 5/8 this way.
He has 200 feet of 5/8 hose for everyday use.
He simply ADDS another 100 feet, IF need be ?
He uses plastic connectors on his garden hose, cuts the metal ones off.
He LAUGHS at me buying "expensive" hose.

Nick, David from Reef told me that kind of stuff goes down in South Florida.
I would hang my head in shame if I ever did one that low

Just got back from vacation, Great video Nick.

Larry, for the closures on the tile we take the 45 degree end from our pvc wand and use a 90 degree. It shoots the entire face and underside of the first row.

It will also shoot directly at you as well. Depending on the pump size and so forth you'll need to pay attention to the length of the wand so that you don't shoot yourself with mix.

NO PUNS or funny quotes on this one Larry. I don't think there is any other way to say the above. :)
