I got a call a couple of days ago from Kory with K & J Pressure Cleaning in Tampa Florida. Kory asked if I would be interested in giving him a hand on a couple of Roof Cleaning jobs in what was a very upscale neighborhood in Tampa FL, that he had to do if I wasn't busy because his regular helpers were going to be unavailable. I rescheduled a House Wash and Concrete Cleaning that I had and agreed to help out.
The 2 tile Roofs that we had to Clean were both side by side and pretty big homes with lots of expensive landscaping. One was a little over 5000 sq ft and the other was just over 4000sq ft. ( He never told me they were that big! Hahaha!) My job for the day,,,Ground guy!
Let me say this about Kory. He is one of the most professional contractors that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. His attention to detail on Roof Cleaning is by far one of the best I've ever seen from a contractor. The respect and courtesy that he shows his customers is nothing less than 5 star and I see why he is where he is at with his business today. Not only did he show his customers the utmost respect and courtesy but he did so with me as well. It was a pleasure working with Kory and if he was ever in a bind and needed my help again I would be more than happy to work by his side. Only this time I would remember to bring my own drinks. LOL...
My point of this post is not to toot my own horn or Kory's. My point is geared more towards networking and working together instead of against each other. Those of us who work together in the same Towns, Cities, or even the same State for that matter will always be considered "The competition" and we all have the same common goal which is to grow our business' and to feed our families. I truely believe that if we all work together and not against each other we will all have a better chance of surviving especially in these bad economic times.
Thanks again to Kory for a great day and for the opportunity to work along side a true professional and a really good guy. ( Just bring drinks next time. Hahaha!) PS. Sorry no pics. I think we both forgot.
