I have a 125 gallon bulk tank on the trailer and a 50 gallon mix tank.
I do not fill the bulk tank up to the top because of many reasons like D.O.T. regulations (they really are cracking down), I do not do that many roofs but I am working on that, the chems go bad quick down here, etc...
I am just buying what I need and will be trying out a new supplier next week for some chems. I realized last month that a local company had been selling me stuff that was not nearly as strong as what they claim it to be.
I know this because I bought some stuff from another supplier and when using it, getting it on my hand and glove and length of life, it was far superior to what I had been getting from this one company.
One day when I am doing a lot more roofs like the Pro's in Florida, I will get a bigger tank or another trailer or something else.
The size of tank you get should really depend on what amount of work you do because the chems will go bad if you do not use them anywhere from a few weeks (down here) to a couple months (most other parts of the country). Another thing to consider is if you do not do that much roof work, get a dark tank or 55 gallon drum to keep it in as the sunlight, temp, humidity, etc... play a role in how fast it degrades.
