Start of Roof Cleaning Season

I've still got till about mid April before the season really takes off. It seems so far away still.

This winter has been pretty rough so far, and has left me wondering why I live here. We have had so many school delays and closings. Its been up and down with freezing rain and ice storms, below zero wind chills, lots of snow, then melting snow and rain causing major flooding followed by freezing temps and snow again.

I can't wait to see some warmer temps soon.

Wait till ya drive 100 miles, only to find out they JUST put new Sod and landscaping down the DAY before, and the water is turned off :)
Or, you drive all the way down there, and workmen are working on the outside of the home ?
I have even had people out Painting the exterior,. and expect me to clean the roof

We found it necessary to inform the customer that no one may be on the property while we are there. I love it when the lawn guy shows up. No one works while we are there. Bottom line. Maybe build in a clause in your proposal that the customer is responsible for total cost if you are obstructed by the Homeowner hiring work which interferes with your project. Whether you complete it or not. Thank You.

We charge the customer if we show up, and another contractor stops us from working :(
We are busy, and our time is valuable.
If a customer is told we need to be without other contractors bothering us, and they ignore this, we charge them.
We don't rip our customers off, but we do charge for Gas/excessive time wasted.
