Hey starbrite, I'm still trying to figure out what this guy wrote that caused him to "offend" some folks. It appears to me that he asked a simple question and next thing you know he is getting bashed for everything from his website to his avatar pic to his methods. I guess the Lords of the Board would prefer that you present your bona fides before posting.
Sometimes I think everyone would be better served if we stuck to information and perhaps send a PM to the "offensive new guy" offering to help. Or perhaps pick up the phone rather than trying to embarass him in front of the entire class.
I am house painter by trade, and a couple of years ago I posted question about getting new unit for around $1000. I didn't need some crazy $10k unit at that point, just a reliable pw to prep houses for painting and an occasional roof. One of the experts on this board, which I think is supposed to "improve the industry thru education", replied that I "need a new business model." Nice, thanks for the info, bro.
Most regular posters on this board know I'm a pain but its tough to sit by and read the constant snark that is posted here. We are adults & for the most part, professionals. These 6-page threads full of LOLs and side conversations are frustrating, at least for me, because I'm a sponge and read every single post. The info on this board is invaluable but then again, so is my time. I hate to waste it reading all of the bs. Can we take that extraneous stuff offline and stick to helping each other work effectively, safely & make more money?
