RL51 spray gun rebuild

Russ, I've got an RL51 gun I'm rebuilding. I've rebuilt Suttners many times but this is my first RL51. Anyway I have a rebuild kit and tore into it today and found the spring that goes against the ball is broken in two. It is not in the rebuild kit. I assume it is stainless steel? Going to look for one at a hardware but doubt I will find it. Is that something you stock?

RL51, is that a nice gun? Haven't tried one yet.

Yeah I mostly use Suttner easy pulls. The RL51 is nice too. Comes stock with a ss ball and since I'm rebuilding im going with the ceramic ball option. Gun has been sitting a year before I found a diagram to show how to rebuild it. I was surprised how corroded the ss ball was and really surprised the spring broke. The spring wasn't corroded don't know why it broke.

Yeah it is rated over 13gpm.

Russ would that probably be a stainless steel spring or what do I need to look for. The spring didn't corrode it just broke.

I can get the spring by itself. I'll have to check availability tomorrow. It is stainless. Here's a breakdown of that gun with the spring dimensions.
