Ok I spent 8 Hours Cleaning a Brick Floor that had been coated with 2 layers of thompson's water seal.. This stuff really is a pain to get off.

I tried sodium hypo --- No Luck
Caustic Soda --------- Not much luck
Surface Cleaner didn't do squat

Finally I just took a wand with a 15 degree nozzle and went brick by brick by brick.. This job sucked ..

I have worked on a few interior floors myself. Are u sure it is thompson? Peeople usually put poly. down on those type floors. When u clean it does it flake any?

no it's thompsons the owner showed me the 5 gallon metal drum.. after I Cleaned the whole floor. I told him don't put this on it again or the next time it will cost more to remove it..

I am going to work in hattiesburg tonight .. helping clean up some buildings. I don't know how much I am going to charge yet but I Should be back Wed Night...

If Not I have an appointment at the coast to help clean water atain from some buildings..

Also I have Been washing love bugs off of vehicles windsheilds for $ 3.00 a vehicle..

I made $725.00 last week in like 4 hours..

I found out that thompsons water seal is mostly mineral spirits and wax.. So mineral spirits and a stiff brush is what I will use next time if my warni9ng was not heeded..

Good Luck this week I will see yall soon... I am taking the digital camera along to get some photos of what Katrina and Rita left behind
