Can anyone suggest a reliable chemical injector ?
I have a 5/gal. min. - 3000/psi hot water unit. I do alot of flat surface work so I apply all purpose cleaners & bleach via downstream injection. The ones I`ve been using I buy from Northern. And the spring & ball seem to rust and break very quickly. They are not very expensive so I guess I might be getting what I pay for. Don`t mind spending the $$$$ if they will last longer than a few weeks. Thanks.

you can contact Mark at EASY CLEAN SYSTEM'S and get a stainless steel injector. [about 25% solution]
You could also get a X-JET nozzle with the close range tip and apply your chem at a much higher concentration.[about 50/50]
Also you can make/buy a shr-flo system and apply your chem at 100%.
I post this because ,bleach at 6% sh,when used threw a downstreamer, is only getting maybe 2% sh, when it hit's the surface[not very strong]
I have and use all three types of way's to get chem from the bucket to the surface.
Chems clean not pressure[cept cement, but then you need heat] if you cant get the right amount of chem on the surface then your spinning your wheels.
Hope this helps?

Glabarta,
When you finish a job are you running at least a 5 gallon bucket of clean water through your injector and hoses? If you will do this each time and especialy after using bleach it will prolong injector and hose life.

I must admit, I am guilty of not cleaning my injector and hoses every time. I guess I need to really stay on top of this.
Another question. In your opinion, is an adjustable injector absolutely neccessary? Or is it just personal prefferance?
I do use the X-Jet when I`m doing houses. It`s a real time saver and back saver (no ladders). But it`s nice to only have to change to a soaping tip rather than carry around a 5 gal. bucket.
Thanks for the input guys.
