QuickBooks Question

I have a question about Quickbooks I have Pro 2008. When you do a back up does it back up the custom templets like a custom Invoice or Estimate ?

Im not 1000% sure, but I will find out tonight I made a backup and formatted my computer, im in the process of installing everything again, so Ill let you know once I get to the part of restoring the QB backup.

I have 2008 pro. When I back-up, my customized invoices, estimate forms, etc remain the same. But when I tried transferring the company file to my new Toughbook I bought for the road, everything transferred perfectly, except I needed to re create the custom estimate, invoice, etc forms.

maybe I don't know what I'm doing, but my wife has used Quickbooks for years and she wasn't able to provide the solution.

Thanks for the reply's My computer is starting to act weird and it's about time to reformat and start fresh. Anyway I was just wondering if there is any other files I should grab other than the company file.

I've lost custom templates before when reloading after a crash. It is something to worry about, I'm sure there's a way to save them though.

I run the same program and it does back up my templates that I have designed.
