Many of you guys who have been washing for awhile may already have done this but I will post it anyway for some who may not have thought of it.
I was doing a restaurant this morning. Finished with the surface cleaner and attached the wand to rinse. When I pulled the trigger there was something frozen in the wand somewhere. I held the trigger open hoping the hot water would knock it out but no luck. Turned off the burner but now I had pressure in the line and I could not detatch the hose from the gun even after closing the ball valve. I was going to shut the motor off and then I thought about holding the lance by the exhaust and letting it warm it up. I started at the tip and worked back and forth towards the gun with the trigger held open. That did the trick and then I flipped the burner back on and let the hot water flush out the rest.
I hate the cold.
