question on reclaim

hello pwi!

i have a chance to get a surface cleaner with vac at a great price and i was wondering if could connect it straight to a trash pump then into a tank?
is this possible?

Most likely no. Any trash pump I have ever used requires a good priming and a consistent load/flow. You need to think more in the direction of a shop vac. What size surface cleaner and what size pressure washer?

I have a 21" surface cleaner that can handle 4,000 psi
my power washer is 3700 psi

can you suggest a vac ? I thought those would be too weak for the water the ow puts out

Check these, industrial style shop vacs. http://www.pressurewasher.net/vacuums . A high end home depot shop vac will work for point recovery, as in moving a puddle of water from corner of parkinglot to landscape but you will need more to effectively capture at the 21" surface cleaner. Whats your gpm?
