Question about Xjet

Dickinson is About 30 miles south of Houston and 30 miles North of Galveston. Yea, I decided today that Im going to buy a chem tank and pump next week. The Xjet is just to clunky and doesnt aim very well. Im sure I can find a supply guy around here somewhere with 12%Thanks alot guys for all of the help.

You might have to change this portion of your website:

Can I use chlorine or bleach?

No. The stains only temporarily go away, and when they come back they come back worse. Chlorine and bleach are dangerous and will kill your grass, shrubs, and flowers around the area. And to add to all that, the chlorine that runs off the roof when cleaned can void your termite warranties because it interacts with the protective chemicales in the ground. You really need a professional with the proper roof cleaner blend to make sure the roof stain removal is done completely and correctly.

This is complete B.S. and contrary to ARMA recommendations.
Where did you get this?

Yea, we put that on when we first started because that what a bunch of the websites said...and because we didnt know any better we thought better safe than sorry...im glad you pointed that out, ive been meaning to change it...its gone tonight. thanks!

You're blackballed until you get it right.

The chlorine is 10%..I know that alot of people use 12 or 12.5 but 10% was the highest i could find on short notice. I figured Borax would give me the soapy mix, but, not so much. Does my mixture sound right? And how do I get the granules to dissapate? Hot water? or does it matter? Im so confused...

Go buy apple blossum dawn and put it in your mix. The TSP & Borax may not breakup up in streaight bleach, the Dawn will mix fine

So your saying skip the TSP and Borax altogether and use only Apple Blossom Dawn dish cleaner? So crazy it just may work!

WTF is with Apple Blossom Dawn? Is it some kind of secret sauce different from other Dawn formulations?

It mixes different/better than other Dawn. Blue Dawn gives a bad annoying and possibly dangerous odor

And I just love the smell of apples in the morning:)

So the Dawn would take the place of the TSP also? I thought that was kinda of a key ingredient?

Yes Dawn instead, but dont take things the way I do it. I do it my way because Im used of it and I dont do to many roofs anymore. I never used TSP or Borax, so I dont know any better. If you are going to Xjet, I say 12% & Dawn, if you are going to apply another way, you dont want to ask me because I just dont know:eek:

I'm a nut with an Xjet, I Love my Xjet:)

Ahhhh...I have an Xjet , but the problem I was having was that it was diluting it to much. So I bought a Delevan 5800 and got that all set up, and will be using it tomorrow for the first time. I made 100gl of the apple sauce (65gl H2O, 35gl 12.5%, 12.5lb TSP, and 12.5lb Borax). This is supposed to be the magic formula. Wish me luck!

Good luck, Apple knows his stuff, I'm sure the sauce will work

Sounds like a good plan.
