Question about freezer cleaning

I have someone that wants a quote on washing a huge freezer in a building that was previously a dairy. The room is about 25'X35'X15"tall, these are just guesstimates, I saw the room a couple of weeks ago but did'nt know he would want it cleaned. My main question here is what chemicals should I use to clean this thing? They have a company that wants to rent it off them for food storage. I have a hotwater machine but no surface cleaner yet.

Some more information is needed. What kind of stuff needs cleaned off of the walls etc.. Is there drainage, lights, shelves and what are the walls made of?

Does it need to be sanitized? A bleach house wash would make a pretty good cleaner choice as a disinfectant and food acceptable after it dries.

a cpuple quick tips.

No acids.
make sure you have van for good ventalation if your using chemicals.

shut coolers down while cleaning, wait awhile after before turning back on.

stay away from coils, do not attempt to get wet.

if these are older units if you choose to use hot water you may freeze them up.

know the return lines because they are under tremedous pressure and sudden heat change can blow older lines.

I think the freezers have been shut down for a couple of years. The floor is half concrete and half steel tiles. I'm not sure about the walls. So you think a mix of bleach and TSP would be work ok?
