PWI Flag is Half-Mast today!!

I read that Russ' dad was also a survivor of Pearl Harbor. The Greatest Generation has lost another soldier WWII vet are becoming a rare breed.If you ever have the chance to sit down and hear a WWII vet talk about their time during the war it's something you will never forget. We go to church with a WWII vet who served in every theater even though his mind is slipping some now as he approaches 90 he can remember the war stuff like it was yesterday.

Thanks a lot folks. It means a lot to have friends like you.

I am sad to see my Dad go, but not sorry. He's been in and out of the hospital and rehab facilities for the past 2 years, and he's been pining for my Mom who passed in 1998 for the past 13 years. I know they're both together in Heaven now.
