Pump sprayers

Who makes the best pump sprayers specifically for chlorine mixes? I do rinse each time but they last a month or less with employees using them. I have tried Flo master (green ones) solo's which home dep,, stopped carrying, etc. The back back ones last longer but the seals wear out also. I know that chlorine will ruin almost all sprayers but does someone now make a high quality porduct with all viton seals etc. Jim (So much for FL football this season!) Off to the beach waiting for the phone to ring!

I use "solo" brand, I keep it rinsed good and I order replacement parts. After a while you will learn which seals are prone to failure. When I order I usally get 10 or 15 of each and it will last a year or more. When it gets to bad or if I need a seal I dont have I will buy a new pump. and use the old one for parts. Or order a part for the old one then you have a spare.

Jim:
I am in the same boat. I have talked with people that say theirs last years, but I don't think they are using it the same way that we are.

I spoke with a shur flo rep about two weeks ago and told her that we were using bleach through our shur floes and that each pump was lasting about a month or less. She told me "the pumps are designed to handle bleach and should not be burning up at this rate". She suggested that they may be burning up because the outside of the pump was not being kept dry and the outside metal was being corroded - but nothing on the inside. I am not sure that I fully believe this, but our pumps did seem to get a thick coating of what looks like salt all over the outside.

Since then, we have kept our pumps out of the way of any external liquids and we have dried them off thoroughly after each use (rinsing first of course). We haven't seen any fail lately, but then again, we haven't been using them as extensively over the xmas holidays.

I hope this helps.
