Pros and Cons

Would like to hear a discussion of the pros and cons...success stories etc. of using a surface cleaner on wooden decks....I have never tried it...but am tempted to on two 2400 sq ft. monsters.....What say you?

Pros... Get the job done faster and make more money.

Con's cut across the wood fiber with too much pressure or stop in one place and get sued losing all your money, house and reputation.

Suggestion, Do it the correct way with no shortcuts and make a pile of money. Most of us would agree that on larger decks there is more flat work. Flat work is much easier to clean than railings and is usually easier to seal so what's the problem?

Hey Bob,

I didn't mean that there was an actual problem. My point was that on a large deck like that there is usually less railings to do. In my opinion cleaning and sealing the railings take most of the time. I'd be happy to get decks that large in my area. It may take a while to do the whole surface but it should be easier than doing five 17 by 22' decks and you should make more money to boot. Not to mention not having to travel to so many other decks to equal the same profit.

Thanks Henry.....I respect your opinon on this and other topics that you have posted on....You make some good points....Thanks..
What do others have to say.??? Don't be bashful......
