Property manager’s series,

I'm Extremely interested.

You guys need to call Ron and remind him, see he has so many of his fingers in the pie it is hard to type while he licks off the goodies.

Just call and remind him and stay on him till he comes back, then get a bear trap and clamp his leg here till he is done.

Jon

what's up Jon, havent heard from you in a while, starting to think you don't like me anymore, lol
got pics for you, funny thing though, now I am getting another trailer and truck. how do you like your surfacer?
and your welcome for talking bob into sending it to you.

Who ever said I liked you? oh sorry I mean don't like you!!

Just been busy and cutting back on the boards, habit forming and all that jazz, you know..

Bad Boy 30" so far working out ok, few minor adjustments here and there.

It will get one heck of a workout starting this Friday night and every night till the following Wed or Thurs.

I would recommend the Bad Boy to those looking for a 30" surface cleaner.

So how have you been, keeping busy I gather if your going to another trailer already, larger size and heavier GVW?

Jon

larger, heavier, enclosed and all that jazz. I have noticed a lot of times I am doing a job and I bring specific tools for that job they ask me to do something else. I want to carry as much as possible so I can satisfy as many services as possible, commercial that is. The residential is starting to really get on my nerves and I am thinking about going 100% commercial.

Mike,
I hear what your saying about the residential. In my area is really getting very competitive. I don't know how these guys make any money at the prices they charge. I would love to have more commercial work myself but it is another whole area based on the bottom line it seems...especially in my area. I do make more money with the residential jobs though.

Good luck!

Ron is a busy guy.

Lets all research this Property Management Stuff and share with each other. So far this thread has produce hints to what to do but not "what to do".

I will start researching and share - Lets educate each other.

Another thing some of us have to think about with commercial is the cost of a water recovery system. I don't have to worry about it with most residential jobs. If you already have a recovery system that's great, but some of us don't. Recent events with a member of this board drive home the importance of recovering your water where necessary.

Tim: Always willing to listen to your pointers! You appear to have a strong ability in the area of marketing.

no name brand, was at an industrial wholesale place a few weeks ago looking at some of their CHEAP machinery. I only mean that in price. Saw this recovery system, very dirty, can't really read any plates, yet. It is having a new "shop vac" motor installed and I will clean it up after it is fixed. Has two motors on it and a 50 gallon tank with filter. Now sit down, they wanted 699 originaly for it. I told them the "shop vac" motor was broken, I walked out with it for, you ready, fifty bucks. If anyone needs any industrial equip. let me know and I will keep an eye out at this place. I put myself on the mailing list for new shipments they get in. Trying to pick up a Landa hot machine, 3000 at 5 with an Onan engine. They are asking 1200 for it, I will go there next week and tell them there is something wrong with it, try to get it for under 5 bills. they are salesman there, they have no idea what some of the things are worth. They even have work gloves, hard hats, hearing protection, hoses, resperators, paint sprayers, you name it, they have it or will soon. the warehouse is about the size of ten football fields, it is that big.
