man chased by police and helicopters crash, four people dead.

I dont know the companys name.

There's a video where it's painfully obvious what type of work trucks were all involved. Ron, have you heard what company it was since you're closer?

What an unbelievable tragedy for the news crews. Clearly it wasn't the fleeing companies' fault that the helicopters crashed but outside of it being horrible for those folks, it still didn't help our industry much.

The company is Shelter Clean, they clean all the bus stops in Phoenix proper. They also do most of the bus stops in California. They are a huge company.

If they ran into a car going threw a stop light and killed someone, yeah charge them.. but because those people were not paying attention to where each other was in the air.. that's their own fault.. maybe i'm wrong just how i feel about that. now maybe someone will learn from it. probably not

I understand your point though.

Now that I know more - I was unaware that the truck was stolen at the time of my previous post - I hope the do try to charge him. Driving fast is stupid - stealing a truck and trying to get away, multiple criminal offenses.

Celeste

So far heis being charged with multiple offenses, but no murders. My thought is if it had happened at something else, like a high school football game, or at a celebrity wedding, they would not charge teh participants there, so why is this mentally challenged parole violator going to be charged?

Not sure how the Arizona laws work, but in CA they would go for the "people killed during the commission of a crime". Changes all the rules as most people know them.

Alan, I dont believe any officers died, only press.

Never said they did Ron. In many places if somebody gets killed while you are committing a crime, they can be tried for it. This guy had was committing a felony when he evaded arrest, so I am sure they will get something going.

Officers or not though, four innocent people died.

Alan is right - A death that occurs as a result of a crime or during, that person will be charged for the death(s)-California PC

I think that it muddies the water a little bit since the news reporters were seeking out the perpetrator versus just being in the way incidentally. I am certain that if these same reporters were filming a celebrity wedding, such as Ron and Paris Hilton, and had the same incident, there would not be charges filed.

If a police unit was in pursuit and ether the suspect vehicle or any other vehicle that has victim injury. The suspects are charged with a felony and yes if that person dies he will have a homicide charge. 187-PC-I have no idea how AZ works.

News helicopters have been used directly and indirectly in the pursuit and capture of criminals all over the world.

The lawyers will make a pile over this one.

Believe me I feel bad for the losses of those guys familys, friends and Fans.

I believe they will not get prosecuted, its just my opionion.

I never said they wouldnt try too. I know for certain if a piece officer had died the charges would stick.
