Prayers for my Mom

Its been a roller coaster ride, scary at times and wonderful at other times. Here are the last two posts I did on my mother on another BB. I witnessed a small miracle this morning. first one, then the latest.

i'm just home for a few minutes to get work done. They upped my mothers pain meds Wed for pain, she was doing alright but we were told its no more than a day or up to a week. Flipping horrible stuff to hear. When they upped her meds she went into coma, either from meds or just her body doing it. We all have been there, my kids did there evening prayers there and it was beautiful, mine and Lisa's family were there. They said she isnt coming out of the coma and its hours now. Well about mid night, I was just whispering in her ear and she started moving and then talking a little. She was in and out but answered some direct questions. Its just a little amazing she is weakened but still so strong in ways. She went back to sleep. I am heading back. She is going to go I am pretty sure, but my mother has surprised us before and she will go when she's ready not when some doctor says. The staff has been truly amazing.

Everyone rest assured, she is in no pain and thats all my brother and I care about. Please keep saying the prayers, they are working in more ways than one

SURPRISE!. Its my brothers 54th Birthday today and we just got an unreal surprise. about 6am this morning my mother started pushing her blankets off, my mother hasnt lifted her arms in 2 days, she started talking and us back to her. They said she would die by early morning at the latest. Man were they wrong. We started showing her pictures and I called one of her sisters and they talked. My mom is wiped out, but she stayed up and talked for over an hour and then the pain was getting a little worse so we gave her some more meds and now she is sleeping. We had very nice talk with her, one we never thought we would have that second chance. The doctor is really amazed, he said he wishes he could take credit for, but he said this was something else.
I have been telling them to keep her on the antibiotics and they are going to keep her on them throughout the weekend. Wow and they said there wouldnt be a chance.

Mom I love you!!!!!!! Never count my mother out. Thank you all for helping the LeCours family with your prayers

A wonderful mother and Nana passed away today she was peaceful and surrounded by love.
I want to thank everyone for their prayers, I truly know that's why my mother came out of her coma today and had more beautiful, quality time with her family today in the hospital. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
 
OMG Jeff, Im so sorry to hear that. If you need anything man please give us a call we are only several hours away but will be willing to make the trip!
 
Jeff you will miss her, I still think about my mother regularly. I really don't have many words Jeff , I just know that talk about her often in the coming days. Remember all the joy she brought to your life and those around her. If it wasn't for that women none of us would have the pleasure of knowing your stubborn shot drinking azz.

She was great Jeff because I know you are her, we are all made from the chemistry of our parents. You may see her eyes in one of your littles ones one day my youngest I swear has my fathers eyes and I sometimes think I can see his soul in her.

You parents are watching over you Jeff , make your mom proud and be strong for everyone who will miss her. I'm glad the last 24 hours you spent with her was full filling cause I'm sure many I love you exchanged.

You need anything Jeff, please brother do not hesitate to call.

You will see her again one day Jeff I truly believe this. Life is eternal.

Sorry for your loss Jeff. Right before my father in-law passed we got him into a Hospice which was such a peaceful place and they took great care of him. They kept him on a morphine drip in the end.. He left peacefully. I feel for you Bro.. Need anything just call.
 
May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
You and your family will be in our prayers.
Remeber the good times and if you think about her every now and then she lives on in spirit in you.
