Yes very easily, when used at the right dilution. As you know with any soap, if you use to much then more rinsing is required. Snot is also the best I have ever used for windows. If your mix dries on a window as it does here pretty quickly with the heat we have, just rinse w water. No need to add more mix, then rinse.

I wish I had seen this post two years ago. I was using Elemonater and it was great for driveways but I dreaded doing pool cages and house washes because it always left streaks on windows no matter how much I rinsed. Everyone said it was so great on rinsing, But I found otherwise. One day I had a major problem with Elemonator. The foam kept disappearing right in front of my eyes and it didn't seem to do anything. Not sure what happened but I had 30-40 gallons of mix in my tank and it was basically ruined. Luckily I had a gallon of snot sitting in my truck. Poured some in and SH was back to life. Been using it ever since and soon found out snot rinses off the windows and makes them shine perfectly every time. Very happy with it.

Yes liquid. 12.5% sodium hypochlorite is what you want. The powder calcium hypo needs to stay in the pool not for washing houses. You will also need to add a surfactant and detergent. Simple Cherry from Pressure Tec is widely used and gives great results around glass.

So what you are saying is that I need to create a cleaning solution for vinyl siding of 12.5 bleach from the pool supply store a surfactant (what is this again?) and a detergent?

Put 2 gallons of SH(bleach,chlorine) 3 gallons of water and 5 ozs of surfactant(Roof snot, gain dish detergent, elemonator) in a 5 gallon bucket, stir, drop your chemical pickup line in bucket, spray on siding, wait 10-15 minutes rinse off. It's not rocket science, just common sense and knowledge based on searching the forum. All this is on this forum 100 times over.

Sorry to keep asking the same question, I have spent many hours searching and reading posts only to creat more questions, I am trying my best to learn this business as quickly as I can. The only way to learn is asking questions, so please dont get frustrated with me, I'm doing my best.
 
Currently, it's been getting harder to come by liquid chlorine in my area, so I have resorted to using the 10% pool shock from Walmart for about $5 a gallon. Even the local pressure washing stores are at $5 a gallon for 55-gallon drums. When it comes time for a roof cleaning, all that SH drives the prices up, so I have been looking for some other quality surfactants and cleaners if anyone has any good references.

Here in the Tampa Florida area the Liquid Pool Shock (Sodium Hypochlorite) is still cheap and easy to get. Probably because this is the land of swimming pools ? Back when I started cleaning roofs, there was not nearly as many places to buy this chemical. We used to have this guy who was known not only for cutting prices, but stealing yard signs as well! He was so brazen he would remove the yard signs of the company who really did the roof cleaning, and replace the signs with his own! LOL, he made the mistake of getting roof cleaning chemical when there were several other companies doing the same thing. Needless to say, he got his ass beat pretty bad, and left the roof cleaning business!
Back in 1991, there were not a whole lot of people out cleaning roofs, compared to today.
