I think the WWF ( world washing federation) Sumo wrestling match should take place in New Jersey . Sumo diapers must be worn. If you knock Ron out of the circle your certified! The same diapers can be used for filtering water.

I don't think it is in good judgement even though its in humor to joke about someone taking life....there might be someone on here who's not stable and might take this seriously and might harm themselves or somebody.
This thread has nothing to do with any discussion here thus far and absolutely nothing constructive can come out of it.
None of us are guaranteed to see tomorrow ....so it is nothing to joke about.

I dont think Ron would feel right going out by himself ! He would have a few of his followers try out the gun first to see if that was the way to go along with the slipping pills. You can't ask a SoFtwasher to kill you with with carbon monoxide because they don't omitt any fossil fuels. Maybe , a two week vacation with John T and Beth on the Love Boat or Fantasy Island !

Al, please. If you are going to shoot people with scriptures, please make sure your gun is loaded with knowledge, otherwise you are shooting blanks and will end up looking like a pious ignoramus to those you are trying to preach to.
The passage in Galatians has nothing whatsoever to do the two passages in Mark.
I am asking you to stop giving Christians a bad name by throwing up scriptures that have been pounded in your head over the years without at least taking a few moments to see if they are relevant to the discussion or to check and make sure they aren't saying the exact opposite of what you are claiming.
Just so you know the entire book of Galatians is a letter written the the Galatian Christians. They originally understood the freedom they had in Christ. They had been released from the law and given a new law, one that resides in their hearts. But some of the people there just couldn't understand how there could be salvation unless there were strict rules and regulations to follow. So they started teaching the Galatians that they must follow this rule or that rule from the past law in order to be saved.
Paul didn't like that one bit. So he wrote the letter telling them to go back to their first way, the way of trusting Jesus and letting his spirit do to the work of salvation in them instead of falling back into the slavery of rule-keeping. Paul disliked it so much, he, as he is wont to do, proclaimed his dislike with a smart-alec remark. They had been requiring circumcision as a condition of salvation, so Paul basically told them "Hey, while you are at it, why don't you just cut the whole thing off?"
This is humorous, sarcastic, biting, scathing, loving and teaching. It likely broke the ice of the hearers and caused some to not take themselves so seriously. Much like Joel Olesten who likes to "start off with something funny".

Notice what i said in blue was referring to the 2 Scriptures I quoted...and I did say Hyppthetical meaning its not in the Bible....it was a reference showing the meaning of removing something that is bad that will do you harm.

The Disciples all believe in Jesus, but they all made mistakes and done things that went against God Word...example Peter denied Christ 3 three time and not sure but didnt he curse him?(not sure).
Point is We are just like the deciples ..We are not perfect and may say things out of hate, anger or fear....
And God will still forgive us...even though we do not deserve it.
And the reality of it is...I am just as Sinful everyother person in this Carnel World.

For the record Al, I don't harbor any hate of dislike of you. I know you are just living your life doing what you think is right.
I'm frustrated that your view of Christianity uses the filter of pretty words and breakouts of Kumbayah while ignoring the good that is done by those who feel they have more of a purpose here than passing out daisies.
You have proven by your constant defense of Jim Gamble even when he is lying through his teeth that you are more concerned with the manner of communication than you are with the accuracy or meaning of the communication.
That is why I am so hard on you here Al. That and the ongoing fact that you allow countless new guys make the same mistake you did buying up all that unnecessary equipment because your pride will not ever let you side with me under any circumstances.
Lastly, Al, I know most people don't have the time to invest in digging into the scriptures as I have. I had to stand on a book when I preached my first sermon. I went to a Christian school and had a full scholarship to Freed Hardeman and a partial Scholarship to David Libscomb. I attended one of the most difficult preaching schools in the country and met Shelly when she returned from two years on mission work in Russia and Romania. I spent about two years of my life behind the pulpit over a long period of time.
I've spent my life studying the scriptures.
There are thousands of preachers out there with their hand out who are more than willing to preach whatever they think will keep the money rolling in. Sometimes that's preaching that there is nothing wrong with killing an unborn child and sometimes that's preaching that it's ok to protest at the funeral of a fallen soldier. Eventually what it boils down to is that it is each of our responsibility to get into the scriptures ourselves and pull out the reason for our being here and then do our best to fulfill that destiny.
God has given me skills along the way. I am not a good cook. Therefore, I don't think I would be fulfilling my reason for being here if I spent my time cooking for the church members. I'm not a good public speaker, thus, I am not behind the pulpit any longer. My life has taken me from doing investigations, to computer programming, to sales, to selling franchises, to running employees, to learning technical aspects of air conditioning and powerwashing to where I am now.
I would be cheating God if I didn't use all of those experiences to do what I am here to do. We have a business climate that teaches it is ok to cheat, lie, steal and produce shabby work as long as you know how to "work the system". The Power washing industry is one of the few left in the US that had not been fully tainted with that mindset because it still has small contractors and has not been taken over by the few large ones.
I spend a lot of time on here fighting to keep it that way. Your defense of the ones who are smooth enough to convince you that they are right just because they use the right soft words and tell you what you want to hear is the gateway they use to neutralize Christians like yourself so that they can do as they wish unopposed.
That makes you their ally, as you have shown and said. You align yourself with the devil, while preaching to those in opposition, all the while thinking you are doing the right thing.
