plastic deck

i am going to be washing an ALL PLASTIC deck.
No composite, not trex, 100% all plastic
rails and all.
Seems they have a problem with it conducting electricty. Im going to wash it and they are going to use some kind of chem to stop the static electricty.
Anyone ever wash this stuff? I am guessing its just like that all plastic fence at home depot.
A little truck wash and cold water. 45 deg. tip and my duel lance.
Not sure why they dont use a garden hose, but the MFG. wants it power washed. No special reasons given.

You may want to contact the people that make play sets. You ever watch kids come down those plastic slides. They look like they have been lit up with 10K volts (Hair pointing everywhere). While I have no info for your problem I dont think they are going to solve the problem permently. The play set people may have a spray to keep the problem at bay. Good luck.
 
To solve the static problem would it be possible to "ground" the deck? ie. hang a chain from the deck touching the ground, it might help discharge the static

the mfg. used some kind of static guard.
It was the most slippery deck i was ever on.
looked pretty but mared easy and like i said SLIPPERY.
