Hey all, Ive been lurking around for a while but finally registered recently. Im somewhat new and somewhat not new to pressure washing. I got started in it when I was a boy my dad had a rig and he would do jobs on the side and he always took me along with him so I learned a few things. He got out of it and I got older and saved up some money and decided I wanted to try to get back into it, not sure if I wanted to just do a little on the side or go big like most of you guys, still trying to decide. But anyway heres a pic of the rig, I bought it back in november. Hope this will be decent enough to get me started. I know alot of you guys dont particularly care for the "on the side guys" but Im not out to steal anyones business or lowball price a job to cut anyone else from a job. This is just something im really considering (if things get better) going away from my fulltime job to doing this fulltime.

14' tandem axle hooper trailer. 25 hp kohler vtwin, 10 gallon stainless steel gas tank, General TS2021 5.6gpm 3000psi pump, Winco 2000 watt generator, Beckett burner, 10 gallon diesel/kersone stainless steel tank, 200ft 4000psi hose, 100 ft low pressure pickup hose,2 Hannay reels, 325 gal tank.

A surface cleaner is the next thing on my list.

if that rig is not good enough, I really have problems. Very nice.

I think it needs to be more shiny! :D Very nice rig dude! Heck I do this full time and mine isn't even like that. looks like your prepared for whatever comes your way though! Good Luck!

Thats the same pump that I started with. still have it. I think it's a great specs machine for just starting out. You will find that it can do allot of things.

Smart move for SS on Boiler.

Welcome. That's a great rig, you won't have to worry about upgrading for a while! It will help you a lot starting out with right equipment. Most of us had to learn the hard way and wasted money on junk equip. at first.

thanks for all the replies everyone, that was pretty quick. Ive had cheap junk all my life and I was finally disgusted with having to work on something every time i used it or something being trashy or looking trashy. I finally needed to have a professional peice of equipment and have a reliable machine that could do most job easily and be depandable. Ive got the machine and a little experience, but need Alot of know how to catch up to where you guys are at. A machine is only as good as the guy who uses it. I look forward to being on the forums and learning Alot more than what little I know now.
btw I love the stainless steel tanks and the ss burner, my pop gave me some polish that he uses on his tanks and wheels on his 18wheeler and let me try some on the stainless and it takes alot of elbow grease but Ive got one side of the burner shining pretty good. Im going to try my best to keep this machine as shiney as it was when I bought it. I use it mostly on the weekends or on weeks like this past when I was off wed until tonight (monday night) and I try to go over the toolbox, the burner and gas tanks, the frame the engine is sitting on and the engine most importantly.

very nice ...lots of luck with it.. you got some good specs on that rig!!

Very Nice! Clean lines, nice setup. That kohler will just be idling along at 5 gal/min, you could get a lot more pump if you ever need to.

I would downstream some caustic on it just to break it in.

Nice rig! Now go get that thing dirty, and make some $$$ :)
