I Have three Left
We're days away from the one year point with our auction trucks.
Grand total spent for the year on both of them including the original purchase AND adding the flatbed was $3500 (also including maintenance and repairs)
Previously we had a total of $960 in monthly payments. Our insurance also dropped $100/mo. With two oil changes and brakes being higher on the diesel we also saved about $400 additional in maintenance.
Grand total savings for the year - $8420 - That money went into another skid, water tanks, pumps, and an additional surface cleaner. There's still money left over and I think we might buy at least one more truck at the auction this november, maybe two more. If we buy two more that would be seven vehicles from the auction over the past few years.
After all the down time and trouble I had with the last diesel I don't think I'll ever buy a new truck again.
