I have a business line @ home in my office and when I am out it forwards all calls to my private cell. If I am out on a job and miss a call I listen to the msg and I *67 them so they can't see my private cell number. I have had little complaints doing this.

I just use my Cell Phone. Never had a problem. But I am thinking about adding another line and slowly transferring it over.

We have an answering service that handles overflow calls. I've got two ladies that answer calls in the office but if the lines are busy, or it's after hours the calls auto forward over to my service.

I think we pay about 600 a month which is a whole lot less than hiring a third person or having my calls go to an answering machine or cell phone. That may sound really high to some but on some days we run anywhere from 75-150 calls a day.

I don't like for customers to have to leave a message, in most cases when they hang up they call the next company on the list. Whoever they reach first gets the job.

They way I have things setup, 98% of the calls that come in we close the sale on.

Always nice to have a real person answer.
