We use a 4 x 6 postcard style flyer - 4000 for $99 at overnightprints.com... Full color and UV coating - we also use these for mailers.

We are starting out flyering this week. 1000 per week is my goal. I pay the guy .10 per flyer so basically 1000 flyers = $100. He says he can do 1000 in 6 hours.....more than I can do, or want to do.

I quit sticking anything to the mailbox after the post office called to inform me it was illegal to put anything in, on or around the mail box and their procedure is to usually just bill you postage for the entire neighborhood that you were in.I put flyers in the paper boxes instead and no one bothers me.How can you trust anyone to put out your flyers?I would be worried after the first 100 were handed out the other 900 would end up in the dumpster.

Ya, you are absolutely right about the mailbox thing - it is ILLEGAL to touch another persons mailbox. We are going to use a company called Best Foot Forward Flyering LLC. That is all that he does - plus I drive out and check the flyers - ours are bright blue - so they are hard to miss. I ALWAYS CHECK. Plus they bill you - so you dont have to pay up front and it gives me time to go out and check that the areas are flyered.

Thats a interesting biz(flyer putter outer).I wonder if I have something similar in my area.10 cents a piece versus 24-39 each to mail post cards.I have had better success with stuffing paper boxes with flyers and brochures than mailing post cards anyway.I'd pay a dollar a piece if the return was right.1000 a week would be nice.
