You have to have them check on the date the item came out on the floor. There is a certain % they can drop depending on how long it's been there. The manager can override most anything if they know it's a slow mover. You can also ask if they have something you are looking for in the back and when it will come out. But you better know what a fair price for your item is, they are not above gouging you at a retail price especially jewelry and tools.
