Parker West System

We are looking at several options right now for a new setup and came across their system. They state that they have a machine that is gas driven and uses a heat exchange system to heat the water up over 250 degrees at 4000psi 9gpm (similar to a carpet machine). My question is, is acheiving those numbers even possible without the use of an external oil fired burner? It would seem to me that you would have to generate a whole lot of heat in order to hit those temps.

I'm skeptical...I had never heard of them until now. Carpet heat exchangers use the engine and blower exhaust to heat water, but not at 9 gpm...

You do realize that a boiler or burner like the one that we have on our hot water machines is a heat exchanger, too?

Quite honestly, I am a little hesitant about anything coming from Parker West. Call it a personal bias.

I would like to see that one work, I might be interested in getting one if it was true.

Most of the carpet cleaning machines are like 3gpm +/- so their system works good for them, I also doubt it would work for higher gpm machines unless they utilize area 51 alien technology. hahahahaha
