Paint Removal Clean Up

Cleaning with Aloha
I'm stripping some latex paint from a lot of curb face in a residential area. At first the customer said they would take care of clean up, but now they're asking for a clean up bid too. Any ideas?

The paint strips easily with just hot water but really makes a mess. The paint goes into the grass and street.

The entire neighborhood slopes downhill. I was thinking maybe flush it with a firehouse and set up some kind of strainer at the bottom drains.

Vacumn it up.....

Vaccuuming it up sounds like a huge pain in the butt. It's a lot of paint. It sticks to the asphalt like crazy!

Put down a tarp and make a wall with a tarp around it to contain it. Then funnel it toward a barrel or something with a screen to filter it out. Kind of like the hood guys do for their wash water.

The fine will make the PITA factor look like a day in the park - contain & vacuum. Landscaping fabric is a great filter to hold the paint chips FYI.

Let it dry then vacuum. ya it will take a bit, he's asking for an estimate, give him a price. I use one of the blower/vacuum's (well or two depending on how much) and just let it dry and blow to a pile and then vacuum, rake, broom, or whatever.

Right on, thanks for the tips. I really appreciate it!
