You sure it is not just dirt or runoff weeping from behind? If you apply just "too much pressure" at the wrong angle, you get runoff from dust, dirt, house wrap from behind the siding which requires low pressure, not too much water and finesse at the right angles to make it go awayIt is vinyl siding. It happened when I started rinsing. No pictures. I have it scheduled Tuesday to go over and scrub the whole house to try and make everything blend in. I read it during a search but it was said that dragon juice will take care of it?
Vinyl is likely fixable,..aluminum,..depending on it's condition before you started may be more of a challenge to end up with a uniform look. Textured aluminum siding has always had a tougher finish and is easier to tie together than smooth,...again though,..depends on the condition of either before you started.
Pictures would be nice if you have any.
