Our "revised" Mission Statement

Chris,
There are more than a few people that would be willing to match what you are making. Some people just do not know how to shar ethe wealth.

BTW, What do you think of Arizona?

Matt, All your Bryan Exhaust identity has been stripped from your profile, are you waiting for the Facilitec logo's or as a Facilitec employee is your presence on the BBS a thing of the past?

I hope Doc and Daryl let him continue to post here. Maybe he will just need an annonymous alias...

I am probably going to get nailed for saying this but the people that really get screwed by all these mergers and buy outs are the employees.
Sure the owners make out great. Big money - golden parachute and even a golf membership.

Unfortunately I am not an owner.

I have been with this company since 92 and have done nothing but sell accounts and increase the overall value of the company and I guess finally making the selling price what it was.

What do people like me get???
The "promise" of a similar job under the new mgmt for less money ("sorry we can't afford to pay you what you were making before").
Plus now there is pleanty of corporate BS & more "suits" than you can imagine asking me lame questions, telling me things like "this is how WE do things". These idiots (the suits) telling me how things are going to be have obviously never cleaned or even seen a hood in their lives.

Loyalty is usually the last thing someone remembers when money is involved.

Grant,

I believe Doc and Daryl will permit Chris and Matt to post here because they are stand up guys and also because tomorrow is April Fools day. Isn't that Matt's national holiday?

It's all good, Chris didn't get as bad of a deal as he makes it sound. With the the benefits (401k, medical, dental etc, etc) he is making out pretty good. At least he gets to keep his job as a sales rep ( if he decides to stay). I am starting out with some low level position, and working up the ladder. I need to learn the ins and outs of the new techniques that have been developed, and let me tell you some of the stuff that we have been working on is going to change the industry.

Right now we are modifying that magnetic scraper to work with our own applications and will be designing our own version of it. I just got a shipment of 3 of them in yesterday and I already have them all taken apart so we should have a new and improved version of it for our own use pretty soon. We will not be making this tool for resale, sorry.

Along with this and the new chemical application technolgy that was recently developed, our competion will not stand a chance. Say what you will about us, but I know that all of you shop at Home Depot or step in to Starbucks for a coffee so if you are against large corporations, you are just a hypocrite.

By the way, we will be expanding in to your area very soon, so be ready.

Did you know I get slapped by companies every day.. Thy all say i have a smart ass attitude, but I am still getting thier accounts.. Go figure.. I even had a website band for mentioning the word Tyco in a sentence.. But did it stop me NO!!!!!

When you get slapped ,, punch back..

Matt,
I can't speak for the hood guys here but I never said I was against corporations, although I may not approve of all they represent(I do have some issues with certain Orgs though).I'm not a hood guy so unless Facititec has moved into lots flat work, housewashes and deck restorations I'm not to worried.I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who cleans hoods if it weren't for you guys I would never eat in a restaurant.
Only you and Chris know what's what.I'm guessing you feel you made the right decision for you and your company. It may mean you get a little ribbing about becoming a part of the "Borg" but you seem to have a good sense of humor so it shouldn't be a problem.
I hope the new company won't stop you or Chris from posting here. You guys are too funny and after a long day of cleaning concrete it's nice to get a laugh from something.

Grant and Scott - I am seriously considering all options at this point.
I have contractual obligations for about 6 months. Beyond that who knows.
Grant although in the past I would not have considered you an option I am considering lots of things now.

I wish this was a joke - I really do. So does my family.

14 years down the drain. 7 years in the field as a service tec and the rest of the time in the trenches selling service day after day, handling customers/ complaints/ issues whatever - you name it I was there.

I am so pissed right now. I even got calls today from HR telling me I need to have "peer counseling" with the head of training in Chicago to work out my "difficulties and disagreements". I can only imagine what the "head of training will tell me." He is probably another suit with ideas about how I should do my job.

"my difficulties and disagreements????????????" - that is a bunch of crap and I need "peer counseling" like I need a hole in my head.

I am too angry to write any more. I don't need any more problems.

peer counseling = brain washing.

to work out my "difficulties and disagreements"= to eliminate free thinking

Sorry to those that don't approve of my comments but I spent a lot of years working for corporate machines that frowned on free thought and self awareness. It sucks being nothing more than a number to someone who could care less about you or your family.

The web site redirects, the phone messages have changed, seems like to much work for an April Fools Day joke. But if it is...congrats Good job.

Seems like a lot of sacrifice for an April Fool's joke. I would not take the risk of referring a potential customer to a major competitor.

Chris,

Don't worry I am the head of training the head of training just take the rest of the week off week off. It's OK OK OK. Just keep looking at the circle, is it spinnnnning, spinnnnning, spinnnning. Take off your tie and shirt, remove your jacket. You are very sleeepy, veeery sleeepyyy. Don't forget to mention our hood clean guarantee. Call me when you read this. Don't make waves. Think of Rusty, where is Rusty....happy April 1 day

Ok Today is April Fools Day . And I am Taking the Day off.. Then I get a day off for my Birthday. What a good month 2 days off...>> Just got thru working on some fire equipment last night . Had to install a fire suppression systems. As we were working JT came up with a great Idea for April Sales FREE Grease Containment Systems for the Month of April with a 1 year hood Cleaning and Service Contract, JT is pretty Smart.

But of course I am still the boss.. And the More I think about his idea the better I like it

Anyway what about all the before and after photos..can we still see them and the movies are are they going to be censored

Everything is censored now. I'll try to continue posting photos. My time will be more limited now.
They are asking for "more professional conduct" on the internet BBS's we belong to.

As for the movies - that is Matt's area and he may not have the time anymore now.

I'm out the door at 5:30AM today to meet a bunch of "big wigs" that wanna tag along with me all day on a big job walk for a bunch of Hotels here in LA.
That is just great. A bunch of suits with me all day long offering me advise.
Just more and more corp. BS.
I have to "check in" daily and they want me to call when I am on the road to give a "route sales report". They even want to see my schedule and all my stops for each day and tell me the order in which I should do each estimate.
It is rediculous - they are not even from here. How would they know how to drive in LA traffic?? It boggles my mind.

I would make them buy you lunch .... At least Steak and Potato's... or Lobster...

Don't you hate having to teach your bosses about there business ????
I had to do it for many years before I went out on My Own...

Have Fun !!!!
