Ouestion for the guys that do car lots

DI

I use a DI form www.crspotless.com. I can hook it up to my rig or staight from a faucet. they work. I use it for the rare instance I clean windows instead of a squeege and also for my truck and trailer. And NO I do not sell them. Just advising what I have found to be a real economic alternative that works. Had mine for about 5 years.

SoSoft is from SunBrite. We would add it to our water in the buffer tank. It worked for the water that the TDS was somewhat lower 40-60 TDS. Anything over that did make it softer but not good enough to make are the hard water spots so away. Whaht we do now is when our TDS is reading 40-60 coming form the DI tank, we add the SOSoft to the mix til we can go exchange the tank. If you are looking to venture into carlots its a must to have a DI Tank or RO system.

We are running 250 ft of 1/4 hose. We have it set for 3000 psi but by the time it travels to the tip we are getting 2000-2200. At this psi you can rip of the pin stripping if it has just been done. You can go as low as 1500 psi but it makes it tough to remove bird poo that has been baked on from the sun of froze to the hood. 2000-2200 works perfect

Doug how many gallons can you get out of tanks like those on the website?

I think it's about 100 gallons. Maybe a little more, not sure. I don't do a lot of window cleaning, and use it mostly for rinsing my truck after washing. I think I have changed the filters maybe twice in the 5 years I have owned it.

Would a 4gpm 4000psi machine damage the cars in any way? I know it might not be the ideal setup for dealership washing but just want to make sure it won't damage the vehicles.
