Chris does pcanywhere have fees or a one time charge.....Free?/????
Honestly The one thing I really want is to be able to record phone call(from homeowners).s FYI its legal in ky and tn if one side of the phone call knows its going on. I hate being out and having to stop everything to write info down ....The old Nextels all had a recorder.....Very close to switching to the evo 4 from sprint.
If the iphone had it it would be a great compliment to the ipad IMO....

Love the ipad. I'm finding that customers gravitate to it. "Oh, is that the ipad?!!" Easy way of getting undivided attention.
As for the other benefits, I'm still learning. Have not had it long enough to use it to it's full potential.
The battery life on it is amazing. Way better then anything else I've tried.
I tried the Augen from Kmart - had it for a day. Although it has the google app market installed, it's useless because you can't download any of the apps. Augen failed to make a deal with google to allow downloading. So the thing doesn't do hardly anything. Not to mention the 3-4 second lag time for displaying pictures.

One time fee unless you know someone with it already to borrow for installtion and setup. Tricky to get ports forwarded correctly and everything set but I have nothing on my laptop now days and access the desktop for everything including faxing, QBooks, email on d-top & (phone set to delete from server when deleted from phone)

I pln to use the augen just to show demos and give away as a web browser. I have hd vids coming up in 3 seconds. $600 is just too much for giveaways right now.

I love mine.
I use the quickbooksonline online(can only get mobile version without logmein type app) all the time for documenting expenses or invoicing out in the field.
I do estimates out in the field and the customer can sign the dotted line right on the iPad which I email them a copy.
Internet on the fly.
I have a miles tracker app that I use to track the mileage on the van organized per trip.
I have a presentation on it that I hand to customer while I measure their property that they can see what we are about.
Photo download and sharing and have an app for editing photos to put text for location or biz name or to draw on to highlight a certain area of concern.

Iphone......just added a app for my iphone. called receipt I can take a picture of the receipt and it saves it and puts it into different categories......then you download it or just print off the stuff later at home or office
