So I did this job in phili. A nice limestone building cleaning. I taped up and dropped plastic to cover two sides of a bumped out entrance that was next to the limestone I onerestored. It was quite windy, 15 mph and some higher gusts at times. What I didnt cover was the very front of the entrance as I did t think it would get hit at all. Wrong.... I didn't notice until it was too late but an aluminum strip 8" wide runnin the length of the entrance just above the doors was spotted terribly with onerestore. I'm thinking it happened when I was rinsing. I couldn't get the metal to look right but by putting some bio clean on some 0000 steel wool and buffing the surface. The spots and lines are gone but it doesn't look totally even. It was at night and I haven't seen it in the daylight yet. I haven't had a call on it so it may be ok. Is there anything I can do to make it better looking? Should I have done something else once it spotted? I learned my lesson to cover anything that MIGHT get hit! The stone turned out well at least!
