Okay, my first rudimentary video.

Here's a tip you already knew, Scott can be getting a mobile fueler to fuel cheaper than taking them to a gas station. Plus on the equipment he will save road tax.

Scott may or may not care because he might need the write off based on other expenses.

Here's the catch , it can increase production. Scott's smart because be probably doesn't have drivers fueling. A worker bee will take 30 minutes at a fueling stop.

I run my guys a little differently. A mobile fueler doesn't want to come twice a day, and we run two shifts. I do get the fuel tax discounts, because we are using a fueling service. That does add up. As for monthly fuel, it is around $30,000 a month, with the higher prices. Fortunately, when I did my analysis on the project, I projected even higher fuel prices, so I am not anywhere near upside down, and am setting aside extra for my horrendous fuel expense fund.

Very impressive Scott, looks like I have a log way to go! Own one cold water PW and just ordered a chem pump to build a roof washing system and have only done a handful of house washes to date, but this is very inspiring to me.Thanks for sharing the video,,,,

That is where I started about 23 years ago. One cold water washer in the back of a toyota pickup. We have come a very long way since then.

Next question , how's the fuel difference between vehicles?

All my trucks are getting around 6 mpg. You have to remember that they are idling all day running from stop to stop, so I took that lousy mileage into account when I did my analysis. I have toyota tacomas, that are just pulling a very light trailer that get 9 mpg. I am most impressed with the f-150's. They are very nice to drive, and get about 17-18 mpg. I will often take one of the 150's over my f-250.
Interesting little side note. I have the cameras, and one of my guys became a believer yesterday. I tell my guys that the cameras are there to verify what they are doing.
Yesterday one of the Foreman came in with pictures of graffiti that he said was left on a stop. I know the tech, so I was pretty sure that he had not left anything on the stop, and this graffiti covered a LARGE area.
I pulled the card, and we looked at it, and when he left the stop, there was no gaffiti on the shelter. There had only been a 10 minute lapse between the foreman's inspection and when the stop was cleaned, at full rush hour.
Yep, he is a believer.

Yeah, but I have work I need to do every day.
Actually, I think my net is more then a California garage cleaner grosses in a month. Not that it matters, but I would rather perform an excellent service for a fair price, and not worry about what other contractors are doing. I think that there is enough out there for every one.

Don't you know you should be charging ten times your rate Scott?

Get with the program! You need to tell the city that the FBI is going to put them all in jail if they use anybody besides you. Then you've got them by the nards!

24 cents per foot or bust!

If only you were a legitimate contractor you would understand the way things work in business today.:p
