It's always regular people that solve complicated problems. It's just usually their boss that takes credit.

The only problem is it doesn't have some big corporation spreading money across congress through lobbyists.

That would be a good and inexpensive way to catch a lot of the oil that is out in the water.

With all the components in the crude oil, I am not sure if they could burn it for fuel in a factory because of all the emissions but using the hay could keep it from washing up on the beaches and making tar balls all over the place and animals getting it on them.

This is a great idea and the farmers and ranchers and other large property owners usually have dozens if not hundreds of large round bales of hay on the property and might be interested in selling.

It could be a win-win situation for the farmers and the people out there doing the cleanup job.

This would be a REAL jump start for the economy. Imagine this .. the gov. stop giving bail outs to banks and in stead create a program to buy hay from farmers. That's putting money in pockets of people that will spend it local. They wont go buy a porsche or a 5th home in the virgin islands. This could be a great thing for the US.

Dj thats to easy and makes sense why would the government want to do that.

OMG...Just showed my wife the video and said the exact same thing to her....:yes4:

Aspen shavings attract oil and soap in the same way. We used swamp cooler pads, rolled them into a boom shape. The water that comes out the other side has zero soap suds and zero oil sheen.

It's gravity bases filtration. No motor required.

The government is still spending 10 million a year testing the flow of Ketchup!! Imagine if we could remove all the buracratic bullshit in the way of real progress, from real people, with real ideas !!!! What a concept we would have.

I see why, ketchup is like coke it goes with every meal its the governments job to find out why

I'm sure if some higher up in the GOV had a Hay Ranch you could bet they sure as hell would be doing this. But why use something so simple when you could waste lots of money on your friends that donate to your campaign?.

Follow the Money Trail.........

Or just maybe it's because John Kerry is married to the Heinz Heiress !!

My My My ..
such an emotional group we are !!
Watch the moves of the Tea Party..
the next few months are going to be real educational !!
As we start "pointing out" the BIG waste-streams,
and set a "sutainable" idea next to them,
we're going to be able to force-feed change for the first time since the last tea party.
Arizona has opened a BIG window to "common-sence" issues. Eh?
SIGN the common-sence petitions,
and VOTE VOTE VOTE !
