Nozzle Marking with stamps

Rather than the normal quick connect nozzles with the color plastic I started using the 1/4" meg nozzles with 1/4"fpt plugs. I like them much better because I can make up more choices and they are easy to change even if you have an o ring making things a bit tight. The problem I ran into is old age and not being able to read the 1/4" meg nozzles. Sharpie does not work so well on stainless exposed to water and cleaning chems.

So I broke out the metal stamping kit. Turned out to be a fast easy way to mark the new nozzles. I had doubt about how well stainless would stamp. But it took it very well. Not deep but very readable. Looks better in real life than it scans as well.

Great trick, I hate when the numbers wear out on them and you have to dig out the chart to figure out what it is supposed to be.

Good idea. I keep saying I'm going to spray paint the tools in each trailer different color to keep them sorted but haven't gotten to it.
