I have streaked a brand new polished alum body and the customer is PO'ed,what do i do?
I used powdered car wash alk. not caustic
some delco wax and I still streaked.
Washed it twice and brushed it.
Still got streaks. Seems to be on it, not in it, if you know what i mean. Still a brush wont take it off.
Dont even think of telling me to polish it.
Am i going to have to buy some PH acid?
BIGBOY, how meney cans of COKE do i use in a 5 gal bucket to use my downstreamer.
carbonated PH.

Go to your local truck wash or truck stop, and pick up one of the polish guys that hang out there and have him polish it out for you. They work real cheep. Not much else you can do.

Didn't I tell ya that truck may be the most disliked truck ya do hehehe.Yel know what you saying when saying seems like on the out side but without seeing it I cann't help only guessing. Are you sure they where not in it before you washed it,do they start at the top and come all the way down, does it have bolts at the top that could have caused it,are they about the same distance apart or one here and there.Do not think PH will do you any good, may have to mix a weak HF and brush it,just the streaKS,really need two people for this, may have to rinse while brushing to keep it from doing damage,on and off. What kind of trailer is it? and what does he haul?

I have seem hotwaTER take polish off the trucks that where polished at truck'stops.Alk. soaps will do damage if to strong, will it will on some polished and want on others but thats polished for ya,you never know lol.I'm aways afraid of the dark colored polished b/c it seems to be the one that will streak.

brand new tandem. No bolt holes. Starts right from the top. The ribs didnt streak the flat panels sure did. Did'nt see them untill it dried.
brown streaks. Rub your finger accross them, real hard, they seem to come off but that was last week. Going back tonight.

Sounds as tho the soap was to strong, you can try flashing with hot HF but be careful, alittle at a time.Do not know and do not think the HP will do it for ya,the brown streaks are burnt in,some of the cheater metals will do that and it beening polished makes even worse trying to remove the brown streaks............Tell the driver he shouldn't buy cheat polished stuff haha..........
